American Dream.
As I sit here contemplating reality I cant help but feel trapped in an existence influenced by control and uniformity.
Go to school. Get a job. Support a Family. Buy a house. Watch TV. Die. Just like everyone else. But feel significant?

Yellow lines pass in a blur as the wind serenades me to peace
My hand falls gently out the window
to topple the endless miles
of telephone poles.
as they fall past me
their whispers develop rhythm
The rhythm develops melody
The melody inspires lyrics
